The world famous Rogano Oyster bar
Where eat in Glasgow
Glasgow has some superb places to eat . From the local chip shops with their fried Haggis suppers to Jamie Olivers new restaurant Jamie`s Italian . [Tel: 0141 404 2690]
I have a great fondness for eating good Scottish pubgrub. Cheap and chearful with a beer .
The Griffin across from the Kings theatre is fine.
Not far from Charing cross is my favourite Indian restaurant Mistor Singh`s. Kilts and turbins make the places and the food is fab.
Our Indian restaurants are the best in the UK. Below are my three favourites.

A Mongolian restaurant situated in Merchant City, where diners get to create their own unique stir-fry dishes from cabinets of fresh ingredients then have them cooked fresh in front of their eyes. We have made ourselves different from other restaurants in Glasgow and other Mongolian restaurants by serving meats from around the world; we serve the likes of Zebra, Kangaroo, Camel and Wild Boar amongst others as well as the more traditional meat too so would fit in very well with your travel blogs.

The food was superb and beautifully presented.
We started Haggis with apple and ginger . For our main course I had salmon fillet with wild mussels and crisp leeks and mrs B had the sirlion steak.

WHAT IS HAGGIS ?
Haggis is a dish containing sheep’s (sometimes cow or pig) heart, liver and lungs. It is then minced with onion, oatmeal, spices, chicken broth and salt. Then it traditionally is simmered in the animal’s stomach for about three hours.
