Roger Hodgson
Plays Supertramp
Saturday May 28th 2011 I had the pleasure of taking in the Roger Hodgson concert at the Pavilion Glasgow. Rodger was the writer and voice behind the
famous band Supertramp . What a superb night this was.
Glasgow crowd loved Roger`s list of Supertramp favourites . Take time to look at the footage above. The crowd sang along with the songs and a girl produced the open umbrella for it`s raining again.
Charles Roger Pomfret Hodgson (born 21 March 1950) is a British musician and songwriter, best known as the former co-frontman, and founding member, of progressive rock band Supertramp.
Hodgson solely composed and sang on the majority of the band's biggest hits, including "Dreamer", "Give a Little Bit", "The Logical Song", "Breakfast in America", "Take the Long Way Home" and "It's Raining Again," earning him the fan-given nickname of Mr. Supertramp. He has enjoyed a solo career since his departure from the group in 1983, and continues to tour internationally to this day. He is recognised for his tenor singing voice, which became a trademark of his former band Supertramp, and often writes about spiritual and philosophical topics.
