On January 23rd 2009 Glasgow Famous Gallon Club had their annual
Christmas party. It was held in the Auld Allance bar Paris. Everyone was dressed up in their best Christmas suits. We would like to thank Davie and Camilla for looking after us and joining in with the sprit of Christmas.
We had a very early start [04.00] Phil la Taxi picked us up and squeezed
seven of us into his cab . Andy supplied the Desparados
So the party started .
Glasgow (Prestwick) (PIK) to Paris (Beauvais) (BVA)
Sat, 24Jan09 Flight FR 62 Depart PIK at 06:40
and arrive BVA at 09:10
Beauvais Airport is located approximately 80 Km from the centre of Paris. There is no rail service from the airport but there is a bus service. Journey time is approximately 1 hour. Cost is €13.00 ONE WAY .

The bus drops us of at Porte Maillot where we take the Metro to St Paul .
The Auld Alliance is across from the station. Davie had set our tables
for Christmas lunch and had put on his Christmas cd.
A great time was had by all.

After the party [around1500hrs] we all split. Bob,Jim and myself headed
to see some of the sites in Paris.
Apology
On returning home to Scotland I recieved my credit card statement.
Checking the many items on the Visa bill I notice four strange
deductions. After investigations I notice that all the firms are clothing
companys.
I BLOW MY TOP and start accusing my daughter of using my visa.
Yvonne is a shopaholic and has more clothes than Marks and Spencers
No Yvonne wouldn`t have used my card .
I decide that someone must have stolen my number.
In a rage I phone the credit card company to report my findings.
After ten mins of different messages I get through to a very helpful
employee.
I explain my situation and my fears for more deduction from my card
Before stopping or destroying my card I ask if they can inform me of the
mystery deductions.
The gentleman then explained the transactions.
