GLASGOW TURNS IN TO A FILM SET
16th of August 2011 Glasgow transformed part of it`s city centre into a movie set .
Part of the film World War Z was being shot in the George square area of the city.
As you can see from the photographs parts of Glasgow has been turned into Philadelphia .
Above is some footage I shot from the Car park in George street .The Extra`s running for their life as the Zombies attack. Fun watching the film being made on the streets of my home town.

Sharon Sinet has answered my appeal for a photograph of the star of the movie.
Sharon was at the set during business for Glasgow firm Fyfe and McGrouther.
Thank you on behalf of Bairdstravel and all the ladies out there.

World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War is a 2006 post-apocalyptic horror novel by Max Brooks. It is a follow-up to his 2003 book The Zombie Survival Guide. Rather than a grand overview or narrative, World War Z is a collection of individual accounts in the form of first-person anecdote. Brooks plays the role of an agent of the United Nations Postwar Commission who published the report a decade after the Zombie War. The United Nations left out much of his work from the official report, choosing to focus on facts and figures from the war rather than the individual stories that form the bulk of Brooks' novel.
