HILLWALKERS GUIDE TO SCOTLAND
On the 29th April 2006 Margaret & Douglas Cameron completed their target
of walking to the sumit of every mountain over 3000ft high . Well done for bagging
every Munro.
The Munros are the highest of Scotland's mountains, 284 mountain tops named after the man who first catalogued them, Sir Hugh Munro. The Munros are among the finest mountains in Scotland. The Corbetts are the equivalent mountains
with altitudes between 2500ft and 3000ft. Whilst smaller in stature many Corbetts
rival Munros for walking and climbing.
Having done a few myself realise what an outstanding achievement.
