TRAIN
The nearest rail station to the airport is Paisley Gilmour Street, which is just one mile from the terminal and easily reachedby taxi or bus (services 66 and 300).
There are direct rail services from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central, Ayr and Clyde Coast destinations.
When travelling to the airport from any station in Scotland, simply ask for a rail ticket to Glasgow Airport. The ticket will be valid on the train to Paisley Gilmour Street and the Arriva bus service from Paisley to the airport.
Trains to Glasgow Central
There are eight trains an hour from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central (five per hour on Sundays).
Rail tickets to Glasgow Central, via Paisley Gilmour Street, can be purchased from the SPT Travel Centre on the ground floor of the airport terminal, next to domestic arrivals.

BUS
The Arriva Glasgow Flyer provides a high-frequency bus service to and from Glasgow City Centre and Buchanan bus station (stand 46).
Services run up to every ten minutes and journey time is 15 minutes to Glasgow Central rail station or 25 minutes to the bus station.
Buses are fully accessible and free wi-fi internet access is provided.

Directions by car
Glasgow Airport is situated around 8 miles from the centre of Glasgow and can easily be reached from the M8 motorway (junction 28), with a typical journey time of 20 minutes. If you're using a satellite navigation system you can input the postcode PA3 2SW. Alternatively, get printed directions using the AA Route Planner on this site.
Picking up and dropping off
There is a free covered pick-up and drop-off zone opposite the main terminal, on the ground floor of Short Stay Car Park 2 (the multi-storey car park). Motorists can access the new zone for up to ten minutes at no cost. Simply follow the road signs for drop off/pick up. If you’re arriving on a flight, follow the signs for the pick-up point.
