        BOND GIRL HALLE  IN GLASGOW

A few weeks after Brad Pitt  finished filming World War Z  Glasgow

had a another Superstar in town.  Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has arrived in Glasgow to film Cloud Atlas.

Douglas street hill was the set for the movie . This time Glasgow was being used as  a double for San Francisco . I think the hills near Blythswood square won it for the city.

Halle Berry born August 14, 1966 is an American actress, a former  and beauty queen.  She was the only woman of African American descent to win a BAFTA award for Best Actress. She is one of the most highly paid actresses in Hollywood.  She has been involved in the production side of several of the films in which she performed.

The set of her film in Douglas Street was a hive of activity today and  she was enjoying a hard days work in the Scottish weather.

Cloud Atlas (published in the United States as Cloud Atlas: A Novel) is a 2004 novel, the third book by British author David Mitchell. It won the British Book Awards Literary Fiction Award and the Richard & Judy Book of the Year award, and was short-listed for the 2004 Booker Prize, Nebula Award, Arthur C. Clarke Award, and other awards.

The film is being directed by Tom Twyker (Run Lola Run and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer) alongside Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski, who created The Matrix trilogy.

The story takes place across thousands of years and features six main characters and, according to Tykwer, spans genres including "Melvillean high-seas drama to California noir and dystopian fantasy

Keith David gets ready for another shot

Keith David Williams (born June 4, 1956), better known as Keith David, is an American film, television, voice actor, and singer. He is perhaps most known for his live-action roles in such films as Crash, There's Something About Mary, Barbershop and Men at Work. He has also had memorable roles in numerous cult favorites, including John Carpenter's films The Thing (as Childs) and They Live (as Armitage), the Riddick films Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick (as the Imam), the General in Armageddon, King in Oliver Stone's Platoon, and Big Tim in Darren Aronofsky's Requiem for a Dream.

David is also well known for his voice over career, primarily his Emmy winning work as the narrator of numerous Ken Burns films. Characters that he has voiced include Goliath on the Disney series Gargoyles, Spawn/Al Simmons on Todd McFarlane's "Spawn: The Animated Series" which aired on HBO, the Arbiter in Halo 2 and Halo 3, David Anderson in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, the Decepticon Barricade in Transformers: The Game, Julius Little in Saints Row and Saints Row 2, Sgt. Foley in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Dr. Facilier in The Princess and the Frog, and Chaos in Dissidia: Final Fantasy and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.
