On January 23rd 2009 Glasgow Famous Gallon Club had their annual
Christmas party. It was held in the Auld Allance bar Paris.
Everyone was dressed up in their best Christmas suits.
We would like to thank Davie and Camilla for looking after us and
joing in with the sprit of Christmas.
We had a very early start [04.00] Phil la Taxi picked us up and squeezed
seven of us into his cab . Andy supplied the Desparados
So the party started .

Beauvais Airport is located approximately 80 Km from the centre of Paris. There is no rail service from the airport but there is a bus service. Journey time is approximately 1 hour. Cost is €13.00 ONE WAY .

The bus drops us of at Porte Maillot where we take the Metro to St Paul .
The Auld Alliance is across from the station. Davie had set our tables
for Christmas lunch and had put on his Christmas cd.
A great time was had by all.

get a lining in their stomach before partaking in a few beverages.

After the party [around1500hrs] we all split. Bob,Jim and myself headed
to see some of the sites in Paris.
