Taxi heading into Chicago
CHICAGO cTrip down to Heathrow from Glasgow went smooth and only had a 55 minute wait over berfore the connection flight to Chicago. The 777 BA plane was comfortable and spacious and hot meal served and plenty of movie channels to pass away the 8 and a half hour flight.On flight I was able to stand at the back and me a lovley couple Marcus and Anthea hes is from London and she from S Africa(if have said your name wrong Anthea sorry and please correct me ha ha ).higago

When we arrived in Chicago we found out the one of the bags were missing and they said it was mine but it turned out to be Georges which was a releif as i had the laptop in the bag ha ha (sorry George). We arrive in mid afternoon and went out and about locally to see the place and you can not do anything but admire the place the buildings are huge and everywhere you turn the just seem to get taller and taller.
The first bar we were in was Boston Blackies where I had my first beer which was 312 which is a beer named after the area code in Chicago the it was onto Tommothy O.Tooles bar were we met some wonderful people Frank and Eve ( who have met the President Mr Barrack Obama - have down load a picture of them with him to prove it ) who were a great couple who live just outside Chicago. Then later on in another bar there was Peter,Wayne,Dwayne who are New York firemen (utter respect for these wonderful people and the job they do) Jason and Somone (he is from Canada and she fron California ) and also Larry Sisco and Judy Briden whom we met in the famous Blue Chicago bar where big Lorenzo if a bouncer ( see pictures). After a tiring day we headed home to bed about 1am which meant because of the time difference whe dad be up and about for 27 hours.
