NORTHERN LIGHTS
Bairdstravel would like to thank Chris for his wonderful Photos
The aurora borealis (or northern lights) is a spectacular natural phenomenon, which can occasionally be seen in the night sky over Britain. Once seen, it is never forgotten.
Chris ,I think you will agree has captured the Auro Borealis at his best . His photography is out of this World. Thank you for sharing.

All the images were taken from the island of Trondra just off Shetland
Trondra is one of the Scalloway Islands, a subgroup of the Shetland Islands in Scotland. It shelters the harbour of Scalloway and has an area of 275 hectares (just over 1 square mile).
Scalloway (Old Norse:Skalavagr - "bay with house") is the largest settlement on the North Atlantic coast of Mainland, Shetland with a population of approximately 812, at the 2001 census. Until 1708 it was the capital of the Shetland Islands (now Lerwick, on the east coast of the Shetland .
Whether you are eager to find the constellations and stars for the first time, a novice observer who is thinking of buying a telescope and doesn't know what to look for, then you have to visit Chris`s website
