BEN A`AN
Not the highest mountain in Scotland,not even a munro but
the view over the Trossachs and Loch Katrine from the summit of Ben A'an is out of this world. The day we were there it was very windy .
As you will see me in one of the photo`s below.
How to get there.
Head for Aberfoyle . When in the main street take the left road .Up the hill
It will be sigh posted for Callender. This takes you up the Dukes pass .
Drive passed the road for loch Katrine . Look out for the Ben A`an carpark .
Cross the road from the car park to a path which climbs up steeply through mixed woodland and is soon accompanied by a burn on the right.
