Ardgartan
SUNDAY 29TH MAY 2011
We walked from Arrocher to Ardgartan information office. Easy walk .[mostly on road]
Weather was showers and sun. We stopped to look at views up Loch long .
Across the levels of Loch Long, surging from sea level to high rocky crests, are the Brack, the Cobbler, Beinn Narnain, and A'Chrois - sounding a clarion call to the walker and climber.
From the Ardgartan Campsite, short strolls leading through woodland along by the Croe Water can be extended on the network of forest tracks virtually as far as you care to go - down the Loch Long shore in richly mixed woods.
Here are the photographs from our day in Arrocher to Ardgarten

A youth hostel run by the Scottish Youth Hostels Association operated for 70 years in Ardgartan until it was closed in 2002.
